An unassuming, overgrown little cottage nestled within the Lavender Beds hides behind its walls a dimly lit den for for those who feel like they might not fit in anywhere else.

Founded by Kairos Aurea — a chimera who'd fallen into a dreamless sleep on a dead microcosm a millennia ago — after she'd woken up on a strange planet without a hint of familiarity. Struggling to adjust to her new life, and finding immense difficulty fitting in with the standard social scene, Kairos decided to create a place that she, and others like her, could call their own.Built on the belief that non-native Eorzeans and those who were built (but not born) could use a gathering place designed to serve their unique needs, Kairos took up a few trades and saved up enough gil to buy an abandoned, decrepit building that had been once been set to operate as some manner of manufacturing facility. Abandoned early in its construction and partially reclaimed by nature, Kairos left some of the original structures and overgrowth, and built an upcycled bar and lounge to house her dreams of connection and community.These days, Cx3 is more than just another bar. It's a community-led gathering place for those who are 21 or older and struggle to conform themselves to the monotony of hyurian social expectations. Here, the downtrodden, misunderstood, outcasts, and all manner of creature, construct, or chimera can let loose their inhibitions and indulge in the many pleasures of life — without expectation to be someone, or something, they aren't.

Rules at Cx3

First and foremost, and I feel like this goes without saying, but Cx3 is meant to be a space that welcomes folks from all walks of life. I will not say this is a safe space for everyone because any chucklefuck that ascribes to transphobia, homophobia, racism, classism, ableism, etc. are not and will NEVER be welcome at Cx3. Take that shit somewhere else.

1. Use basic RP decorum. It's expected to remain in-character while at Cx3, with any out-of-character talk defined by brackets, e.g. (( )), [[ ]], etc. If you want to have a conversation with to someone OOC, please do so in a /tell or /party chat.2. By entering Cx3, you confirm that you are 21+ IC and OOC. If it's found out that you are below age, you will be permanently banned.3. Do not /shout or /yell in the building unless given permission. Please leave these channels for announcements from the staff.4. Please leave pets and weapons at home.5. Keep the public chat fun and flirty at most. ERP is allowed downstairs (please don't bang at the bar), but keep it to /tell or /party chats.6. If a behavior is making you uncomfortable or breaking the rules, please /tell Kairos Aurea. If the behavior is found to be cause for concern, one warning will be given to stop or redirect. Mistakes happen and there is some leeway, but a second warning will result in a 30 day ban. Three warnings (i.e. you get another warning after the 30 days) will result in a permanent ban. Bringing in any sort of -phobia or -ism is an immediate, permanent ban. Zero tolerance, no exceptions.7. Delineate between in-game and IRL. No harassment, stalking, etc. Just because you have a fun encounter in-game does not mean that it has any bearing IRL. We're all playing pretend in this pretty sandbox.8. For everyone's safety, drunken ERP is not allowed on the premises. If your character is intoxicated, please see the bartender for a complementary sobering up potion.9. Wear whatever you want, but you need to wear something. No nudity at the bar.10. Lore flexibility is allowed here. As this is an affirming venue, there will be no policing of a character's history, identity, etc.11. All non-creatures (e.g. Eorzean native races) are not allowed to order from the downstairs bar. Those concoctions are designed for those who are able to handle them. No exceptions.

Cx3 has two bars: one upstairs where folks can order regular drinks, and a walk-up bar located on the lower level that caters towards the more... eclectic needs of Cx3's patrons.All menu items are 5,000 gil except water and sobering up potions.

Upstairs Bar Offerings:♡ Water - This is exactly what you think it is. Just plain 'ol water, straight from a nice spring.♡ Sobering Up Potion - Always complementary and required for any private encounter on Cx3 premises after drinking.♡ Mead - A mildly sweet honey-wine from Fullflower Comb. Served chilled, by the glass.♡ Vylbrand Ale - A frosty pint of robust amber ale, served with a slice of La Noscean orange to enhance the zesty flavour.♡ Sharlayan Special - Named after the "study habit" of scholarly friend, this drink is two parts freshly brewed coffee, one and a half parts whiskey, and a bit of heavy cream stirred together with a dash of cinnamon.♡ Chimeric Kiss - House-made raspberry gin, fresh lemon juice, and simple syrup shaken and topped with a splash of tonic water.♡ Cyclops Tears - Barrel-aged whiskey, fresh lemon juice, and soda water served over ice.♡ Creature Comfort - A bold cocktail for those who like the simpler things in life. Pineapple gum syrup, Turali mezcal, and lime juice shaken with ice and poured into a chilled glass.

Downstairs Bar Offerings:♡ Bloodwine - Ethically (and legally!) sourced blood, purified and brewed together with a full-bodied red wine. Comes in two types: hyur-derived and animal-derived.♡ Aether - Concentrated living aether, distilled down into a liquid solution. Can be served as is, or cut with a shot of your choice of alcohol. Great for our voidsent friends.♡ Wyrm Venom - A highly concentrated distillation of venom willingly given from a dragon that Kairos calls "friend." This is served on the rocks only. (Served only for those whose biological makeup can withstand its effects.)♡ Gear Lubricant - A proprietary blend of lubricant from Skysteel Manufactory. Best suited for automatons, androids, cyborgs, etc.

The owner and jackal-of-all-trades at Cx3. Kairos is a prime example of how love can change someone. Aeons ago, she was changed by her past (and present) husband from a Kodama to a Chimera. After tragedy struck her homeworld and she spent a millennia asleep, Kairos awoke filled with incomprehensible despair. Unable to fit in with regular Hyurian society, and their loneliness only serving as a catalyst for more anguish, Kairos decided to open a social club where she and others like her could find solace.⟡ Open to RP? - Yes!
